User Experience Designers and Developers

If you want to increase your chances of scoring high profile User Experience Designer and Developer jobs, there are a number of things you’re going to have to bring to the table. First and foremost, you should not expect to get a job as a User Experience Developer if you’ve had no prior experience. Although this can be a catch-22 for those trying to getting started, it is still possible to gain valuable experience to start at an associate level position under a User Experience Designer or Developer. The fact is if you’re worth your weight in gold, you’ll probably start in a valuable supportive role and then quickly climb to a management or senior level position, which is great exposure to the industry and business that employs designers and developers specializing in User Experience. Of equal importance is a solid education in User Experience design and a passion for keeping up with industry trends and best practices. Although there’s no guarantee that having a degree without experience will get you a job, it won’t exactly hurt your chances. Scope out some of the User Experience Designer jobs below to get an idea of what requirements you should aim to meet.
