Our client is looking for a Senior Web Analyst to assist their Web Analytics team focused on analysis and reporting in the northwest suburbs. This environment requires a high pace and high volume of ecommerce web analytics work using clickstream tools. Daily tasks include website behavior and user experience analysis; date consolidation and validation; presenting enhancements for activity and processes; creating holistic dashboards using data from different data sources to present to the senior management team. This is a collaborative position that involves working with product managers, development teams and functional group member so acting as a team player is a must with the ability to work independently.
Requirements:
· At least three-four years of experience working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
· At least two years of experience of leading proactive deep-dive analysis projects while managing ad hoc reporting requests
· Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
· Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
· At least three years of experience in an online ecommerce environment
· Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in Excel
· At least three years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions preferred
· Some experience in SEM, PPC and SEO (strategies
· Confidence in decision-making
· Ability to identify key needs and provide leadership to close those gaps
· Exposure to project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques a plus
