Steve is an interactive art director who is equally skilled in managing and inspiring creative teams, and at rolling up his sleeves to design and code. His beginnings in fine art paved the way for Steve's eye for clean layout in Web design. Currently, as a senior designer for Livemercial, Steve leads a team of 10 designers (5 local, 5 remote) in creating fully integrated marketing solutions for clients such as Sony, Black & Decker, Serta, ProActiv, and NutriSystem. These promotional "div-based" sites, rollovers, animations, e-newsletters, embedded videos, targeted pop-ups and banner ads drive incremental sales, and are entirely designed and managed by Livemercial. Not only does Steve provide art direction to his designers, he also delegates projects based on skill level, and ensures that everything is completed on time. He is very strong in Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS; he is learning ActionScript. Steve is dedicated to ongoing research on the latest trends (user-generated content, CSS-based and "liquid" sites) and standards (XHTML) in Web 2.0
