Erik is a user experience designer who whole-heartedly agrees with Steve Jobs: “Design is how it works.” He specializes in the end-to-end development of online applications and sites that are usable and beautiful. While working for corporations and agencies, Erik has developed strong skills in designing user experiences and interfaces, based upon requirements that he gathers from stakeholders, wireframes of varying levels of fidelity, results of usability tests (for which he writes the test plans) and business logic. He uses Visio and iRise for rapid, detailed prototyping; he is also strong in Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and has dabbled in Silverlight. Erik also possesses strong coding skills. His unique blend of creative and technical expertise makes him an ideal team member, and he especially enjoys partnering with developers.
