Jill is fluent in design and project management of print projects. She is passionate about conceptual work such as logo/identity systems and icons, and is also highly skilled in design, layout, and typesetting of catalogs, annual reports, and collateral. At Pivot Design, Jill was responsible for end-to-end creation of publications for Northwestern University’s schools of medicine and education, as well as real estate companies and consulting firms in Chicago. This work also included establishing the look and tone (based on each school’s “brand” and readers’ interests), setting project timelines, and working closely with copywriters and editors to compile copy. Her background further includes art exhibit design (including building scale models). Jill currently works with her own freelance clients from her home studio in Hawaii. She is strongest in CS4.
