Client: Chicago Comedy Improv
Project: Flyer/Marketing
Solution: This piece was centered around a Chicago improv group called "Grandma June's Sewing Circle." The group came to Ashley wanting several design concepts in order to promote their sketch and improv comedy show. The focus of the show was surrounded by how society has been taken over in a world full of gadgets while also excluded from human interaction. The idea behind this concept was to incorporate how isolation is shown in today's society by using elements from the show and incorporating them into the design. This was the chosen concept, as Ashley collaborated with the group on the idea of a baby calming listening to his/her ipod, yet secluded in it's mothers womb to exhibit the idea of "perfect isolation." I designed and illustrated this two sided flyer to ensure they got exactly what they were looking for.
