Ryan is a senior designer / art director with strong experience in corporate print design. At DHD, Ryan was in charge of design projects from concept to press check, including hiring photographers and art directing on photo shoots. He was also responsible for some account management. He enjoys working within identity guidelines and brand standards to create a unique yet consistent look and feel across pieces. Ryan's hallmark is the use of typography as a design element. His portfolio includes book layouts, sales tools, direct mail pieces, newsletters, trade show graphics, corporate identity and logos, event promotion pieces, B2C collateral, catalogs and annual reports. His clients include RSM McGladrey, University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, the NBA and NHL. He is highly skilled in InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and PhotoShop (Mac).
Ryan's work is very clean, informational and functional, with great use of white space. His ideal role will be as a print art director at an agency or in-house design group. He would like his daily responsibilities to include hands-on design, overseeing a team of designers, project management, art directing photoshoots, and travel.
