John is a talented designer with experience in exhibit(ion) design and development. He works with all parties involved to determine optimum placement, flow, media, and Web presence. Art directs visuals (banners, motion graphics, storyboard concepts, kiosks), creates schematics for installers and fabricators, creates 3D renderings for spec, and does project management. John includes copy, imagery, and multimedia into his experiential pieces. Past projects include major exhibits for the Field Museum (Cleopatra, Gregor Mendel, Sue, Eternal Egypt), and "Revealing Chicago," an outdoor photography exhibit at Millennium Park. He was the sole designer for the Chicago Michigan Avenue Bridgehouse Museum, and was responsible for developing the entire look and flow of the exhibit, as well as creating all of the graphics (installation and Web). Other clients include Lookingglass Theatre, Shell, Citibank, and Kohl Children's Museum. His hallmark is experiential design that fully engages the viewer. John primarily uses VectorWorks to create large scale graphics, although he has previously done some work in 3D Studio Max, Viz, and AutoCAD.
