Charlotte

Charlotte is a wonderfully talented medical illustrator, and recently completed her Masters degree at UIC in this field. As one of 12 students selected to this prestigious program, Charlotte developed her strong sketching, rendering and animating skills, as well as extensive knowledge of science and biology. Not only does she make these concepts visually interesting and understandable, she takes a “goal-oriented” approach to design, and thus knows how to present a complex scenario or sequence of events to a viewer. For her Master’s thesis, Charlotte studied how well students learned from 3D animations presented online, versus from printed diagrams; she develop the study itself, and created all of the renderings and animations involved. Charlotte primarily uses 3D Studio Max, Corel Painter, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop; she is also familiar with Maya and ZBrush.
