Susana is an accomplished interactive project manager with experience on both the client and vendor sides. In her current role, Susana is responsible for managing 9 online journals, including one which is translated into a foreign language. These sites publish simultaneously with their print journals every month, and often involve secure access, back-end databases, scripts for flowing text, and some e-commerce. Susana coordinates all of the copywriters, designers, programmers and vendors involved. She constantly assesses the association's sites as well as competitors' sites, to determine which features, documents and best practices can improve their users' experience. Susana creates user flows using Visio, develops use case tests in cooperation with subject matter experts), tests usability against particular communities' needs, tests functionality prior to and after launch, and pitches new site features which could generate additional revenue. Susana's core strength lies in supporting all aspects of an online project and all contributors, to ensure that her processes deliver on time, and on budget.
