Mike is a versatile designer with experience in print, Web and user interface design. Mike's portfolio demonstrates strength in diversity, and his understanding of the ways in which function and approaches to design differ between print and Web. He is passionate about design in which "form follows function" (especially in Web site design) and enjoys teaching students and designers the tools of the trade. For Pacific General Electric, Mike spearheaded a redesign of their entire site, a project which involved a global competitive site analysis, adapting the site's complex architecture to government regulations, and art directing the new look and feel. Not only is Mike capable of creating clean layouts, he is also drawn to illustrative type, and helps his clients to branch out in their branding in new ways that stays true to their roots. Mike is strongest in CS3 on the Mac platform; he has some experience in Flash and AfterEffects.
