John is a user experience and usability architect, whose background is a blend of corporate and agency experience. Most recently, John created wireframes and sitemaps for Fair Isaac’s client Abbot Labs, and then designed and coded sites in HTML, CSS and Javascript according to medical, federal, and W3C regulations. He also provided Abbot with “usable” SEM reports which revealed the success of their online campaigns. For his freelance clients, John has provided task analysis, heuristic surveys, and interviewed users on how a site will best flow and function. John’s approach to architecting solutions for design problems is always informed by his client’s business situation and project goals. He has an excellent understanding of SEO and SEM principles that drive users to his clients’ sites (and keep them there), including unbranded keywords, meta-tags, headers, naming images, natural search, page linking, and delivering custom content. John has won two usability awards for his technology-based designs!
